Alfredo with Chicken and Broccoli

2 Tbls butter
2 Tbls oil
4 Tbls flour
2 Tbls garlic
4-5 c. milk
1 c. Chicken (cooked and chopped)
2 c. Broccoli (cooked and chopped)
8 oz Fresh parmesean cheese
1 lb. Noodles (feticcini or penne work well)
salt and pepper to taste


  1. melt butter and oil together
  2. add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  3. add flour to make a rue and cook 2-3 minutes to get rid of the “flour” taste
  4. slowly add the milk to and cook until it starts to thicken up
  5. add the parmesan chese and stir until it melts
  6. add salt and pepper to taste
